Our Story

I can still remember the day: I was sitting at our high school’s volleyball game and I got a text from a boy :) All I knew is when I opened the message I could tell something was different. I could tell that he genuinely wanted to get to know me, AND he actually asked questions back.

10 days later we headed off on our first date. This included going to a local steakhouse, a corn maze and even seeing his family farm. I also think it’s funny that I ended up meeting his parents…and holding his hand by accident on our first date LOL. We talked so long at the resteraunt that we ended up taking 30 minutes to even pick something out on the menu LOL. I was smitten to say the least :)

While we didn’t start steadily dating right away after that date, I knew after that first date that I loved Michael—I knew that he was the one. He fit every checkbox of my list :)

After 10 months of so many fun dates, Michael popped the question on August 3, 2019 by recreating several dates that we had gone on while we were dating-ending on one knee at the corn maze :)

On December 28, 2019 we got married and it was one of the most beautiful days of our life. We then were blessed with the year of 2020 (we all know what that year looked like haha) where we were able to spend a lot of quality time together in our first year of marriage. I truly enjoyed those times and sometimes miss them.

In 2021 (and we honestly couldn’t believe it!) we found our dream home just one mile from Michael’s family farm. Since then we have been able to slowly work towards making our house our home and grow our dream life together.

In 2023 we are looking forward to growing this space alongside of you and sharing more about how faith, family, and farming shape the life that we live.
